Katherine Wang is a director with Upstream Asia, based in Taipei. She has over 12 years' experience in public relations in Taiwan and her areas of expertise cover the full range of communications disciplines from corporate and marketing communications, sponsorship, integrated marketing communications, event marketing and management, issues management and media relations management, which helps clients to meet their marketing demands strategicallyPrevious positions with PR agencies held include Senior Account Director of LHC Porter Novelli, Director of Indeed Marketing Communication Consultancy, PR Director of Mandala Integrated Communication Co., Senior Account Executive of Burson-Marsteller and account executive of Ogilvy. While developing the new business, Katherine firmly believed that only an extension of client and thinking ahead of client, can the service team be professional and successful.
In addition to Katherine's agency client service experiences, she also gained her corporate communication skills working in IBM Global Services for Great China Group¡¦s IT Services image building, integrated marketing plan and support and cross-line communications internally.
Katherine held a Bachelor of Arts degree with English Literature major from the Fu-Jen Catholic University and completed her Master of Journalism and Mass Communication degree with Public Relations major from the University of Oklahoma in the U.S.
She is fluent in Mandarin and English.
